In the Northeast winter, I tend to gravitate towards garments that appear to be sweaters, but are actually blankets, with a few strategically placed stitches and sleeves. This cocoon coat is no exception. Over the past few weeks, I’ve taken to throwing it on over whatever I’m wearing, which reminds me–I should probably get it dry cleaned.
Underneath the cocoon, I’m wearing my go-to weekday uniform: a crisp buttondown, a structured layer, skinny pants, and booties. Which reminds me–I should probably get these pants dry cleaned.
On the agenda this weekend: dry cleaning, watching the Olympic opening ceremonies while participating in my favorite competitive sport (drinking red wine), trying the tapas bar that just opened on my corner, and attempting to stay very, very warm.
Happy Friday–outfit credits after the jump.
